The fourth station of the 2023-2024 China Cup Elite Speed Skating League commenced on December 8th at the Jilin Provincial Speed Skating Stadium. The day’s events saw the Jilin Li Qishi team and the Liaoning Shen Hanyang team emerge victorious in the women’s 500m and men’s 1000m races, respectively.
A total of 13 athletes participated in the women’s 500-meter race, with Li Qishi of the Jilin team seizing the gold medal with a time of 39.01 seconds. Wang Jingziqian from the Ningxia team and Liu Xinyue from the Tianjin team secured the second and third places, respectively. Team Ningxia Liuze and Team Jiangxi Lu Shuai secured the second and third positions, respectively. Meanwhile, the women’s team pursuit event saw the Jilin team, comprised of Li Qishi, Zhao Xin, and Sun Xiaohan, emerge as the champions.
Hosted by the China Skating Association and organized by the Jilin Provincial Sports Center, this event serves as a qualifying tournament for the speed skating segment of the 14th National Winter Games.
