The fourth race of this season’s Short Track Speed Skating World Cup is set to take place in Seoul, South Korea from December 15 to 17. The Chinese team, fresh from an impressive performance in Beijing, has announced its roster for the upcoming event.

The male athletes representing China in Seoul will be Ren Ziwei, Liu Shaolin, Liu Shaoang, Sun Long, Li Wenlong, and Song Jiahua, while the female athletes include Fan Kexin, Qu Chunyu, Zang Yize, Gong Li, Wang Xinran, and Wang Ye. The team has already begun intensive preparations for the competition in Seoul.

Notably, there have been changes to the lineup compared to the previous event in Beijing. Lin Xiaojun and Xu Aili will not be competing in Seoul, while Song Jiahua and Qu Chunyu have been added to the roster for the fourth station. The decision to withdraw Lin Xiaojun from the competition was made after a careful evaluation of his ankle injury, which had worsened following the men’s 500-meter race in Beijing.
