Cho Young-nam Talks About Divorce with Yoon Yeo-jung on ‘People’s Chairman’

Popular singer Cho Young-nam opened up about his ex-wife, renowned actress Yoon Yeo-jung, on the tvN STORY show ‘People’s Chairman’. Airing on the night of the 31st, the episode unveils Cho Young-nam’s emotions regarding their divorce.
In the show’s preview, Cho Young-nam disclosed, “Being separated by Yeo-jeong pushed me to pursue painting, while she became a highly acclaimed actress to make a living.”
During a conversation with Kim Soo-mi, he acknowledged, “Yoon Yeo-jeong is an exceptionally intelligent person. Not only is she skilled in the culinary arts, but she is also a natural talent at sewing. She even used to make my shirts and suits.”
Fellow show member Kim Soo-mi, in admiration of Yoon Yeo-jung, remarked, “Even though my sister and I are two years apart, there were so many things to learn from her, especially when it comes to style.” However, Jo, interrupting Cho Young-nam, advised him against discussing Yeo-yeon on air. In response, Cho Young-nam complied, indicating that he will restrain himself.
Cho Young-nam and Yoon Yeo-jung tied the knot in 1974 but divorced in 1987 due to his infidelity. Yoon Yeo-jung later remarried a non-celebrity in 1995, only to divorce again. Last year, during a previous broadcast, Cho Young-nam shared about the divorce, stating, “I wasn’t hurt by Yeo-jeong. While we had a relationship, she unilaterally asked me to leave, so I vacated the house.”
