Chunky Soup Tackles Hunger: Bengals Star Sam Hubbard Teams Up with Campbell’s and Freestore Foodbank
Cincinnati,OH – Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard is known for his powerful tackles on the field,but this week,he’s tackling a different kind of challenge: hunger. Hubbard has partnered with Campbell’s Chunky Soup and the Freestore Foodbank to help provide meals to families in need across the Cincinnati area.
“It’s bigger than football,” Hubbard said. “Giving back to the community is something that’s really notable to me, and I’m proud to be working with Campbell’s and the Freestore Foodbank to make a difference.”
The initiative, announced on social media with the hashtag #ChunkyTacklesHunger, will see Campbell’s donate a portion of proceeds from Chunky Soup sales to the Freestore Foodbank. Hubbard will also be making appearances at local events to raise awareness about the issue of food insecurity.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Sam Hubbard and Campbell’s on this critically important initiative,” said Kurt Reiber, CEO of the Freestore Foodbank. “Food insecurity is a serious problem in our community, and this partnership will help us provide much-needed meals to families struggling to put food on the table.”

The Freestore Foodbank serves over 350,000 people in 20 counties across southwest Ohio,Northern Kentucky,and Southeast Indiana. with the support of partners like Campbell’s and Hubbard, the association aims to ensure that everyone in the community has access to nutritious food.
