Within the framework of boosting Madinah’s economic infrastructure and stimulating investment in the logistics sector, Al-Makar Development and Development Company has signed a memorandum of understanding with Kaden Investment Company for the Logistics City (Imdad) project in an area of 1 million square meters. The memorandum was signed during the Cityscape 2024 exhibition. Which is one of the largest gatherings, which forms a platform to showcase the latest real estate projects and development initiatives
The Logistics City (IMDAD) project aims to establish an integrated logistics center that contributes to improving transportation, warehousing and related services, making Madinah an important hub for connecting different regions of the state and enhancing its role as an important logistical hub.
The project will include improved infrastructure to meet the needs of local and international companies benefiting from Medina’s strategic location and expanding their scope of operations.
In this regard, Majid bin Mohammed Al-Shalhoub, CEO of Al-Makar Development Company, said: “The signing of this memorandum represents an important step towards achieving our strategy of developing quality projects that contribute to supporting the national economy and providing new jobs. opportunities, as well as strengthening Madinah’s position as a leading logistics hub.”
For his part, Kaden CEO Engineer Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Othman said: “We are happy to partner with Al-Makar Development Company to develop Logistics City (Imdad). “This cooperation comes after Caden Company’s success in developing logistics projects with high-level infrastructure that meet the global standards of logistics industry leaders and contribute to the growth and development of the logistics sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”
