CJ Logistics will raise delivery fees for corporate customers in January next year… KRW 122↑ on average

CJ Logistics announced on the 16th that it has decided to raise the average delivery charge of 122 won for corporate customers starting next January.

CJ Logistics decided to raise the delivery fee for the new selling price guide from January 1 next year and began negotiations with customers.

Based on corporate customers such as online shopping centers that trade more than 50,000 units (10 departments) with CJ Logistics, type A (80 cm, 2 kg or less) charges 5.3% of the 1,900 won to the 2,000 won.

About 80% of the delivery volume is type A.

Type B (100 cm, 5 kg or less) will be raised 8.7% from 2,300 won to 2,500 won, and type C (120 cm, 10 kg or less) will be raised 10.9% from 2,750 won to 3,050 won.

It was decided to freeze the shipping costs of individual users, with the exception of some extremely large products, taking into account the burden of the user.

CJ Logistics explained that the final rate of increase is determined in consultation with the customer based on the guideline.

An official from CJ Logistics said, “We decided to raise the average price of 122 won in the new selling price guide from January 1 next year in order to ease the burden of a sudden increase in costs such as oil prices and labor costs, improve the environment work, and securing investment funds.”

Meanwhile, CJ Logistics raised the type A delivery charge from 1,600 won to 1,900 won by 250 won and 50 won in April last year and January this year, respectively.

If an additional 100 earned in January next year is charged, it will increase by approximately 25% in 1 year and 9 months.
