Reports have emerged that Russia will hold a military parade in Mariupol, Ukraine, stained with blood, instead of Moscow’s Red Square on Victory Day next month.

According to the BBC broadcast on the 13th (local time), Mariupol mayor’s advisor Petro Andriusshsenko told Kostiantin Ivashchenko, who is in charge of the Russian-occupied Mariupol region, by the Russian army through his telegram on the same day, “May 9 He claimed to have ordered the removal of debris and bodies from the center of the city so that a military parade could be held at work.

May 9 is the day the Soviet Union defeated Nazi Germany in World War II. To commemorate this, Russia holds a large-scale military parade on Red Square in Moscow every year.

Mayor Andriusisenko said: “Based on all data, the occupiers are planning to hold a ‘festival of victory’ in Mariupol in case their ‘special operation’ is successful. There is no vehicle or person to perform the task,” he said sarcastically.

On the other hand, Russia focused on taking control of eastern regions such as Donbas (Donetsk and Luhansk) after failing to occupy Kiiu, the capital of Ukraine.

According to CNN and others, President Putin, thirsty for victory, is expected to declare a false victory and celebrate it at the Victory Day event to praise his achievements.
