The Seoul Eastern District Court has granted approval for the temporary seizure of Duggi Bus CEO Ahn Seong-il’s copyright fee bond, following a filing by Attract, the agency representing the girl group Fifty Fifty and led by CEO Jeon Hong-jun.

Attract has uncovered evidence revealing that Ahn Seong-il embezzled funds intended for the agency’s services. Consequently, Attract has sought to recover a portion of the original charges imposed by the agency to compensate for the extensive theft. As part of this effort, Attract applied for a temporary seizure of copyright fees, which the Seoul Eastern District Court approved.

As a result, the Copyright Society has suspended copyright payments for Ahn Seong-il’s Fifty Fifty debut albums ‘THE FIFTY’ and ‘The Beginning: Cupid,’ and additional temporary seizures have been placed. In light of Dougie Bus CEO Ahn Seong-il facing further allegations of embezzlement and breach of trust, Denu, the legal representative for Attract, plans to apply for further temporary seizures to recover the remaining funds.

Attract is currently pursuing both civil and criminal lawsuits against Dougie Bus officials, including CEO Ahn Seong-il, who was directly involved in Fifty Fifty’s service work. This court ruling holds significant weight, as it marks the first legal decision related to Ahn Seong-il’s illicit activities.

Meanwhile, Attract is also working on a new girl group project while dealing with the legal complexities arising from the request for a preliminary injunction to terminate the exclusive contract with Fifty Fifty.

The court decided to approve the temporary seizure of Duggi Bus Ahn Seong-il’s copyright fee bond filed by Fifty Fifty’s Attract agency (CEO Jeon Hong-jun).

On the 25th, Attract said, “We found out that Ahn Seong-il, the CEO of Dougie Bus, embezzled the company’s money in the process of performing Attract’s service work,” and added, “Accordingly, we have charge a proportion of the amount originally charged by Attract in respect of the total theft.” “We applied for a temporary seizure of copyright fees, and in this regard, the Seoul Eastern District Court made an approval decision,” he said.

Currently, copyright payments for Ahn Seong-il’s Fifty Fifty debut album ‘THE FIFTY’ and ‘The Beginning: Cupid’ registered with the Copyright Society have been suspended, and a temporary seizure has been received again the this time. Subsequently, Denu plans to apply for a temporary seizure of the remaining amount in the future in response to the additional case of embezzlement and breach of trust by Dougie Bus CEO Ahn Seong-il.

Attract is currently pursuing civil and criminal lawsuits with company officials, including CEO Ahn Seong-il of Dougie Bus, who was responsible for Fifty Fifty’s service work. In this process, this approval decision is significant as it is the first court ruling on CEO Ahn Seong-il’s illegal actions.

Meanwhile, Attract is preparing a new girl group project apart from the request for a preliminary injunction to terminate the exclusive contract filed by Fifty Fifty.
