Cristiano is upset about not being able to play, but don’t say he’s not happy: Deg Haag

Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s days at Manchester United are getting tougher. There were already reports that the Portuguese star was in trouble for not being released from the bench. The words of coach Erik ten Haag confirm all that news.

Ten Haag have kept Ronaldo on the bench for five consecutive games. It was clear that the player was very unhappy with this in the derby which was defeated 6-3 the other day.

A video was also released of Ronaldo, who expressed extreme discomfort whenever the team’s net was shaken, and covered his face when City goal machine Erling Haaland scored a goal.

When asked about the same, Tenhaag said he was not allowed to play out of respect for Ronaldo’s career.

But many have pointed out that Ten Haag are mainly young players like Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Anthony. Former Manchester United star Roy Keaney also believed that Ten Haag, who reduced Ronaldo to a squad player and substitute, insulted the player’s long career.

Now Ten Haag himself has opened up about Cristiano’s current situation. ‘He is very upset about not being able to play. He is very angry. It doesn’t mean he isn’t happy. Like everyone else, he moves on in happiness. Very well trained,’ said ten Haag.

At the same time, there were reports that Ronaldo would leave United in the January transfer window. Reports say that Ten Hague United have called a team meeting after the derby defeat. The players and staff had the opportunity to criticize each other openly.

It was after this meeting that The Hague reversed its previous decision not to release Ronaldo. Hagg also agreed with United’s position that Ronaldo was not for sale.

But now it has been decided to release the player if a suitable offer comes in the January transfer window. United did not specify what it meant by this tailored offer.

Ronaldo played eight games for the Red Devils this season. Out of this, the player only managed to score one penalty goal against Sherif Tiraspol in the Europa League. He didn’t even get a chance to do that in the Premier League.

So, even though it is a year after the season has ended, reports say that the club’s management will not see much of a problem in letting go of Ronaldo.
