This is what we read in a declaration issued on the occasion of its 90/or birthday. “I affirm that the institution of the Dalai Lama will be perpetuated,” said in the message read in the monastery of Mcleod Ganj, in northern India, where he lives in exile since he left Tibet controlled by China in 1959.
