The devastating human toll has been particularly profound in the southeastern province of North Gyeongsang and the central province of Chungcheong, where 22 fatalities were reported. The whereabouts and well-being of the remaining 14 missing individuals from North Gyeongsang Province and other regions remain unknown, intensifying concerns for their safety.
