Denise richards Seeks Restraining Order Against Husband Aaron Phypers Amid Divorce Filing
The actress is requesting legal fees, compensation for alleged abuse, and for Phypers to attend a batterer intervention program.
Denise Richards has taken legal action against her husband, aaron Phypers, following his recent divorce filing. The “Wild Things” star is seeking a restraining order against Phypers, requesting that he pay her legal expenses and any costs associated with alleged abuse. Moreover, Richards has asked that Phypers attend a 52-week batterer intervention program.
Phypers, who reportedly has “no income,” filed for divorce from Richards on July 7, citing irreconcilable differences after six years of marriage. He is seeking approximately $105,000 per month in spousal support.
The couple’s relationship began in December 2017, shortly before phypers’ divorce from actress Nicollette Sheridan was finalized in 2018.
Richards, a mother of three, has two daughters from her previous marriage to actor Charlie Sheen: Sami, 21, and Lola, 20. She also adopted her daughter Eloise Joni Richards, now 14, as a single parent in 2011.
Currently,Phypers is under a court order to remain at least 100 yards away from Richards,her home,vehicle,and place of work. This order remains in effect untill August 8, when both parties are scheduled to appear in the Superior Court of California.
On the professional front, Denise Richards is set to star as Emily Sims in the upcoming teen horror film “what she Doesn’t Know.” The movie will have its world premiere on August 22 at FrightFest London.
