[OSEN=이인환 기자] Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is taking a new approach.
France’s ‘RMC Sports’ reported on the 15th (Korean time) that “Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has offered Kylian Mbappe a short-term renewal contract with a higher salary than Lionel Messi.”
Mbappe’s contract with PSG expires in June 2022. PSG has offered to renew the contract several times, but Mbappe has rejected them all.
Mbappe, who rejected PSG, is likely to join Real Madrid as a free agent. In fact, Real even offered PSG a hefty transfer fee in the transfer window last summer.
Even when a move to Real was certain, PSG were confident that Mbappe would renew his contract. However, it is known that in the end, the player himself showed a strong will and turned.
RMC Sports said, “PSG offered Mbappe a short-term renewal contract to recover the transfer fee.”
A huge salary is a bonus here. RMC Sports emphasized that “PSG offered Mbappe a higher salary than Messi, who joined as a free agent last summer.”
