Bandai Namco Entertainment Korea will pre-order the Korean version of the Digimon game ‘Digimon Survive’ for PS4 and Nintendo Switch from July 1st.
Digimon Survive is a game in which boys and girls who have flowed into another world go on an adventure to return to the original world together with the monsters they met there.
The boys and girls who participated in the field trip were engulfed in a sudden fog and lost their minds. When they came to their senses, the scenery they saw was a different world where strange creatures and monsters lived and breathed.
Surrounded by fear and doubt in a harsh situation suddenly thrown into danger, boys and girls set out to find a way to survive while cultivating a bond with the monsters they met in another world.
The game is largely composed of story and battle. First, the story proceeds as a text adventure, and the story unfolds by selecting options that appear during conversation or investigation. Depending on the choice, the direction of the story branch and the evolution of Agumon, the protagonist’s partner, will change.
The battle is followed by placing up to 10 units on the field to fight. Monsters can use ‘skills’ by consuming SP or evolve in an open direction. You can use the abilities given to monsters to understand the terrain and racial compatibility and fight strategically.
Digimon Survive will be released on July 28th for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One, and on Steam on the 29th. Package reservation sales are only available for Nintendo Switch and PS4, and as a pre-order bonus, a ‘special acrylic key ring’ with Agumon on it will be presented. The first bundled bonus is the DLC-limited additional monster ‘Gilmon’ and HP support equipment ‘Favorite Decision’. If you nurture Guilmon, you can evolve it into Dukemon.
