‘Doctor Royer’ Im Soo-hyang “It was my first time working as a lion… it was difficult to pronounce”

Actor Im Soo-hyang mentioned the difficult part while acting.

On the afternoon of the 3rd, an online production presentation of MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Doctor Royer’ (played by Jang Hong-cheol, directed by Lee Dong-hyeon) was held. Actors So Ji-sub, Shin Sung-rok, Im Soo-hyang, and director Lee Yong-seok attended the scene.

‘Doctor Royer’ is a medical court drama about the story of a genius surgeon Han Yi-han (So Ji-sub) who became a lawyer after losing everything through a rigged operation and Geum Seok-yeong (Lim Soo-hyang), a prosecutor in charge of medical crimes.

Im Soo-hyang, who plays the prosecutor, said, “This is my first ‘lion job'” and “I wanted to look professional.” She continued, “To do that, I felt pressure to have to pronounce it correctly. The lines are very difficult. I filmed with the mindset of being a ‘soy sauce factory manager’ every time. I received a lot of help from my seniors.”

Im Soo-hyang also said, “Pronunciation was very difficult. (So Ji-sub) said that he liked it very much, but he said, ‘I’m hard at work as a prosecutor, but are you a doctor or a lawyer?’

I didn’t get the lines wrong,” he said.

Then, “I had to make it stick in my mouth, so I kept memorizing it. The part I was really lacking was re-shooting. (To the director) I said I’ll do it again once.”

‘Doctor Royer’ will premiere on the 3rd at 9:50 PM.
