The action that catches the attention of users, such as combat style and parkour, was as spectacular as its predecessor. It was an action full of dynamism unique to Dying Light, such as making the opponent stagger and then jump over and attack another enemy with their feet.

There were parts that were a little disappointing, but there are still minor problems such as optimization of the game, graphics, and bugs that are a little disappointing.

The highest level of performance at any resolution Intel Core i9-12900KF

Dying Light 2 is the latest title, so the requirements are quite high. If you look at the recommended specifications on the right inside the red box, based on ray tracing off, the CPU is Intel Core i5-8600K, and the GPU is RTX 2060.

As mentioned above, in order to play Dying Light 2 comfortably, I set the CPU to i9-12900KF, GPU 3080 FE, and the memory to DDR5 6000 CL 36, the latest standard.

The graphics card has the biggest impact on the frame rate in games, but the CPU is also very important. In order to use the performance of the GPU properly, the role of the CPU is important. In order to properly use the performance of a high-end graphics card such as the RTX 3080 or a higher-end GPU, the Intel Core i9-12900KF is very suitable.

There are many ways to test CPU performance, but to understand game performance, we mainly test occupancy, temperature, and operating speed by resolution.

The i9-12900KF I used has 16 cores (8P+8E), 24 threads, and a maximum clock of 5.2 GHz.

The above test is a CPU test result for each resolution with a high-spec graphics option (ray tracing off, the best option).

Looking at the results, the i9-12900KF shows that even with the FHD resolution, which has the highest CPU occupancy, there is a slight error, but the average is kept low at about 30%. I made sure it came out.

What do these results mean? Low CPU usage means that other tasks can be performed concurrently. You can do other work and other programs such as broadcasting while playing PC games at the same time.

The above result is the frame by resolution (ray tracing Off, DLSS Off) when playing with the Dying Light 2 high-spec option with the i9-12900KF.

In FHD, which has the lowest resolution, it greatly exceeded the average of 144 frames, and it should be noted that even without DLSS enabled, it showed good results with an average of 78 frames in the 4K area.

This good result is proof that the i9-12900KF used the performance of the RTX 3080 properly.
