In episode 2 of JTBC’s Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Doctor Slump’, which aired on the 28th, a scene was depicted where Nam Ha-neul (played by Park Shin-hye) was bullied at work.

The hospital professor, who had continuously harassed Nam Ha-neul, attacked Nam Ha-neul, blaming him for failing to find the patient’s blood vessel during surgery. Not only that, he instructed Nam Ha-neul to kneel directly on the patient instead. But Nam Haneul couldn’t stand it anymore. After kicking the professor’s knee, he said, “Go and kneel. Nam Ha-neul told his mother, Gong Wol-seon (played by Jang Hye-jin), that he had stopped working at the hospital, but Gong Wol-seon could not accept this fact. I was first in my school, first in the nation, and graduated from medical school at the top of my class. I was truly amazing. Does it make sense that I’m depressed?” The two continued to drink while lamenting their current situation.

While going home together after drinking, Nam Ha-neul received a text message from Gong Wol-seon. The text contained the warm words of a mother comforting her daughter along with an apology for speaking shamelessly. Nam Ha-neul, who saw the text, eventually sat down and sobbed.

Nam Ha-neul’s sudden tears made Yeo Yeong-woo cry, saying, “Since you’re crying, I feel like I’m going to cry too.
