Druski and Let’s Go! to Host 2026 BET Awards

BET has appointed comedian and digital creator Druski to host the 2026 BET Awards, a move that establishes him as the youngest emcee in the history of the ceremony. The event is scheduled to air live on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET/PT from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

The selection of the 31-year-old host marks a transition in the event’s hosting lineage, as Druski surpasses the previous record held by Kevin Hart, who served as the youngest host when he emceed the show in 2011.

The appointment reflects a broader corporate strategy by BET to integrate creators who have built significant influence through digital platforms. The 2026 BET Awards, now in its 25th year, will utilize an extensive simulcast strategy to maximize viewership across multiple networks. The ceremony will be broadcast on BET HER, CMT, LOGO, MTV, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount, POP, VH1, Comedy Central, and TV Land.

Production of the event is being handled by Jesse Collins Entertainment. The executive production team includes Connie Orlando, Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon, and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay.
