The letter Z has become one of the symbols in support of the war launched by Russia in Ukraine on February 24 last year. Even before the start of the war, it appeared on Russian military equipment being moved to the borders of Ukraine. After the outbreak of war, in support of the so-called of a special military operation – how one must speak and write about war in Russia – supporters of the Kremlin’s policy also began to use it as stickers on cars, printed on T-shirts or on billboards on the walls of buildings.

No other details are available either – except that one of the cafe’s guests had with him “explosive device”. The ministry added that investigators are working at the scene of the explosion.

Russian media and military bloggers said Tatarsky met his readers at the cafe, with one of the women presenting him with a box containing the statuette, which appeared to have exploded.
