The previous day, a system failure occurred for approximately 13 hours between 9 am and 10:10 pm, limiting the use of economical transit cards. Less than a day after the system was restored, use was stopped again, increasing citizen dissatisfaction.
According to News 1, an official from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said, “The system failure that happened the previous day was a database problem. When we checked this morning, we found that the problem from the previous day had not fully resolved, so we started an urgent inspection again.”
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport understands that there is a shortcoming in the function that automatically organizes records when a certain amount of records accumulates in the DB budget transport card. It is known that when the number of users increases rapidly, information cannot be processed in a timely manner, causing failures in the system.
