The tournament runs from October 8 to 10, 2026, across the Madinaty and Mirage City golf courses. Boys and girls are competing in four distinct age brackets: under-13, under-16, under-18, and under-21 categories.
The lineup of competing countries features Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Palestine, Oman, Bahrain, Jordan, Tunisia, Libya, Qatar, Iraq, Morocco, alongside the host nation Egypt.
Egypt Prioritises Youth Development to Build New Players
Hosting the event for the second consecutive year reflects confidence in the country’s organisational capabilities, Egyptian Golf Federation Vice President Mohamed Anwar told reporters. Anwar noted the sport has a 140-year history in the country, describing the host nation as the heart of Arab golf.

Furthermore, Anwar mentioned that the Egyptian Golf Federation is placing its main focus on youth development and spotting talent to foster a fresh lineup of athletes ready for global competition.
Arab Golf Federation Praises Course Preparations
Arab Golf Federation Vice President Adel Al-Fayyad praised the course preparations and the Egyptian Golf Federation’s efforts to facilitate the large-scale event. Arab Golf Federation Head of Referees Hani Al-Abdallat also commended the host nation for sponsoring the competition for a second year.
This competition fits into a wider plan by the Egyptian Golf Federation, spearheaded by Chairman Omar Hisham Talaat, aimed at boosting regional tournaments and bolstering the growth of golf across the Arab world. Egyptian Golf Federation Tournament Director Josh North and National Teams Technical Director Stuart Clayton also attended the launch event.
