Egypt is bracing for a shift in weather conditions as the country enters the fourth day of Ramadan, . The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts a cold to very cold morning, transitioning to warm to mild temperatures during the day in most areas, and returning to cold to very cold conditions overnight.
Atmospheric Phenomena
The weather will also feature areas of fog ( to ) across northern parts of the country, including Greater Cairo, Canal cities, northern Upper Egypt, and central Sinai. The fog may be dense at times on certain roads.
Wind Activity
Active winds are expected across most of the country, potentially stirring up sand and dust in the Western Desert, as well as in central and southern Upper Egypt and the Red Sea Governorate. There is also a chance of light to moderate rainfall in some areas.
Specifically, intermittent showers are possible along the North Coast and in the northern Lower Egypt region. Low clouds are also predicted over Greater Cairo, southern Lower Egypt, and Canal cities, potentially bringing light, non-impactful drizzle in some locations.

Greater Cairo
Temperatures in Greater Cairo are forecast to range from a low of 11°C to a high of 22°C. In the New Administrative Capital, the low will be 10°C and the high 21°C. 6th of October City will see a low of 10°C and a high of 21°C, while Benha is expected to have a low of 11°C and a high of 22°C.
Lower Egypt and the Delta
Damanhour will experience temperatures ranging from a low of 10°C to a high of 21°C. Wadi El Natrun will see a low of 11°C and a high of 21°C. Kafr El Sheikh is forecast to have a low of 10°C and a high of 20°C. Baltim will have a low of 10°C and a high of 20°C. Mansoura will see a low of 10°C and a high of 21°C. Zagazig will experience a low of 10°C and a high of 22°C. Shibin El Kom will have a low of 11°C and a high of 21°C, while Tanta is expected to have a low of 10°C and a high of 21°C.
North Coast Cities
Damietta will see temperatures ranging from a low of 13°C to a high of 21°C. Port Said will have a low of 14°C and a high of 21°C. Alexandria is forecast to have a low of 11°C and a high of 20°C. El Alamein will experience a low of 10°C and a high of 19°C. Marsa Matruh will have a low of 9°C and a high of 19°C. Salloum will see a low of 9°C and a high of 18°C, while Siwa is expected to have a low of 7°C and a high of 20°C.
Canal Cities and North Sinai
Ismailia will experience temperatures ranging from a low of 12°C to a high of 23°C. Suez will have a low of 12°C and a high of 23°C. El Arish is forecast to have a low of 10°C and a high of 21°C. Rafah will experience a low of 9°C and a high of 20°C.
South Sinai
Ras Sidr will see temperatures ranging from a low of 13°C to a high of 22°C. Nekhel will have a low of 9°C and a high of 21°C. St. Catherine will experience a low of 4°C and a high of 18°C. El Tor will have a low of 12°C and a high of 24°C. Taba will see a low of 10°C and a high of 21°C, while Sharm El Sheikh is expected to have a low of 17°C and a high of 26°C.
Red Sea Cities
Hurghada will experience temperatures ranging from a low of 14°C to a high of 25°C. Ras Gharib will have a low of 14°C and a high of 25°C. Safaga will see a low of 15°C and a high of 27°C. Marsa Alam will experience a low of 16°C and a high of 27°C. Shalatin will have a low of 18°C and a high of 29°C. Halaib will see a low of 20°C and a high of 27°C.
