However, the path is fraught with challenges, including an additional boss fight, intricate puzzles, and a final showdown against nightreign’s ultimate boss.

Starting the Recluse’s Remembrance Quest
The Recluse’s remembrance quest becomes available in the second chapter of her journal. Unlike othre Nightfarers’ quests, there appears to be no fixed trigger for when this chapter unlocks. Typically, Chapter 2 appears after completing three or four expeditions as the recluse. Nightreign counts both successful and failed expeditions toward this requirement.
After returning to Roundtable Hold from an expedition, check the Recluse’s journal. When Chapter 2 appears, the option to “begin Remembrance” will be available. Selecting this option will transport you into a memory that can only be experienced as the Recluse. Players can freely switch classes or postpone the Remembrance quest without penalty, resuming it whenever they are ready.
Keep in mind that Nightreign allows only one personal objective per expedition. Teaming up with others pursuing Remembrance quests does not guarantee that your specific objective will appear on the map.
chapter 2: Vanquishing Enemies Tainted by Night
To begin the Recluse’s first quest, speak with the Iron Menial in Roundtable Hold’s dining room. He tasks you with defeating enemies tainted by the night to demonstrate your dedication to the Nightfarers’ cause. You must then return with proof of your success. Despite the Menial’s wording, these enemies are not Nightlords, meaning you won’t face a major boss. Only one enemy needs to be defeated to complete this task.
