Actress Elham Shaheen mourned the late director and screenwriter Issam El Shamaa, who passed away this morning, Monday, April 29, at the age of 69.
“Shaheen” shared with the audience pictures from the movie trailer for the movie Donia Abdel Jabbar and the Gentle, directed by Issam Al-Shamaa, through her account on the photo and video sharing site “Instagram,” and commented: “Farewell to the doctor, the respected writer, and the decent human being, Dr. Issam Al-Shamaa… May God have mercy on him and make his resting place Paradise.” .
She added: “We will always remember him with all the goodness. I made two films with him that I am very proud of with the great star Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, may God have mercy on him, the movie The Gentle and the movie Donia Abdel Jabbar.”
Ahmed Issam Al-Shamaa, the son of the deceased, announced the news of Issam Al-Shamaa’s death via his personal Facebook account, saying: “My father, the doctor, author and director Issam Al-Shamaa, has passed away.”
It is noteworthy that Issam Al-Shamaa wrote and directed a large number of artistic works, as his most prominent works were: “The Red Sulfur series, the movie Morals of Slaves, the movie Al-Fagoumi, the series Man in the Age of Globalization, the series Window on the World, the movie Rendezvous, the movie Too Too Toot, and the movie Karwana.” “The Mongoose” film, and the deceased directed a number of works, including: “A Man in the Age of Globalization,” “Al-Fagoumi,” and “Weapons of Mass Destruction” series.
