Thesis contested by the family’s lawyers, but shared by the judges.
“Shame on you, you acquitted a murderer,” shouted Amalia Iorio, mother of Emanuele Di Caterino, with tears in her eyes. “We do not agree with the sentence – declared the lawyer Maurizio Zuccaro, lawyer for the family – we await the reasons and will evaluate what to do. Our reconstruction is based on the autopsy which gave a different examination than that of the attorney general. Emanuele was hit in the back and the defendant was not defending himself.
