Delta told the Independent that Flight 520 had declared an emergency. After the crew noticed a signal relating to an emergency exit on the right wing. Including voices that have never been heard from the right wing.

The airline said there were 176 passengers, two pilots and five crew members on the plane and that federal agencies were investigating the incident.

Delta confirmed to the Independent that the Boeing 767 -300ER has been withdrawn from service.
