The governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro Ramírez, met this Wednesday with the Secretary of the Interior, Luisa María Alcalde, with whom he addressed the issues of the defense of the 2024 Budget and, in turn, the agenda of security protocols for the and the candidates who will participate in the June election next year.
The president trusts that after this meeting, in terms of budget, an opportunity for dialogue will open with the Ministry of Finance, which in recent weeks has insisted on fighting for priority projects and the needs for Jalisco, as he has declared in the president on different occasions.
“We are going to continue insisting in the coming days so that, with the Ministry of Finance, a mechanism can be found that allows us to solve the effects of 2023, the cuts that exist in 2024, and of course establish or resume, I would rather say , the dialogue to try to build a new fiscal agreement between Jalisco and the Federation, which is a priority for our state,” said Alfaro.
Likewise, a meeting was held in which the progress and challenges of the Line 4 project of the Urban Electric Train System was supervised, “which week after week requires us to be on the lookout.”
Regarding the 2024 Elections, the protocol was addressed so that candidates for public office have the support of state and federal authorities for their security.
