Even better was war; Women and the Afghan people frozen in Taliban rule

Kabul: Women and the general public have blamed the Taliban’s rise to power in Afghanistan since August. Women collectively say that all freedom has sunk. The general public can do nothing of their own. It is widely rumored that the Taliban have brought peace to Afghanistan. But in reality the country is frozen.

The people have not suffered so much even during the last 20 years of constant war. People say that in those days there was freedom and economic power in all spheres of trade, business and education.

The Taliban have detained Afghan women inside their homes. Even the heads of female figures in the clothing store were beheaded on the grounds that they were under Sharia law. The world is watching such Talibanism with ridicule.

If women have to travel more than 72 km, it is mandatory to have a male companion. It has been made strict that women who do not wear the hijab should not be allowed in the vehicle. Human rights groups also accuse the law of making it impossible to work or get an education.

All girls’ schools were closed. Journalists are being hunted down and killed. Movie theaters and theaters were closed. Human rights groups say the disappearance of the Ministry of Women and Child Welfare is a tragedy in Afghanistan.

Religious discrimination against music is most evident in the cruelty shown to the instrument of a famous musician. Taliban militants set fire to a musical instrument seized from the artist in front of him and enforced religious law. Music is prohibited on all vehicles. Human rights groups have strongly suggested that music not be allowed in public places.
