The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) revealed cases of sexual violence involving former Ngada Police Chief AKBP Fajar Widyadharma Lukman Sumaatmaja was carried out systematically and involved intermediaries.
Komnas HAM urged the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police (NTT) to reveal the existence and participation of the intermediary parties.

“Brother Fajar used the intermediary of sister V to look for minors. Sister V then asked sister F (suspect aged 20 years) to claim to be a junior high school child to Brother Fajar,” said the Coordinator of the Uli Parulian Sihombing Human Rights Enforcement Subcommission in a press conference at his office, Jakarta, Thursday (3/27).
Uli said the criminal offense of sexual violence and exploitation of children by Fajar involved the participation of intermediaries and/or carried out through the Michat application.
Fajar asked F to bring a younger girl with the reason to play with girls. F then brought a 6 -year -old girl to play with Fajar.
“Unknown, sister F, sister Fajar molest and recorded immoral acts,” Uli said.

“Based on this, Komnas HAM considers that Brother Fajar has committed a serious violation of the rights of children to get a sense of security and free from violence, including sexual violence and exploitation as regulated in Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning Criminal Acts of Sexual Violence, Law 35/2014 concerning Child Protection, and Law 21/2007 concerning Eradication of Criminal Act of Trafficking in Persons,” explained Uli.
The above findings were obtained by the National Commission on Human Rights after coordinating and requesting information to the Directorate of Criminal Act and PPO Bareskrim Polri and the NTT Regional Police Directorate of Criminal Investigation related to the investigation and investigation of the case.
