The second season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) starts today. Last season’s runners-up Delhi Capitals will take on champions Mumbai Indians in the opening match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Reports suggest that a grand opening ceremony will be held before the game. Various Bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan will grace the opening ceremony. UGC has 5 teams again this time. Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, RCB, UP Warriors and Gujarat Giants will fight for the title.
The match starts at 7:30 PM IST and will be available on GE Cinemas and Sports 18.
