After the opening ceremony, the chess players immediately jumped into the intense competition under the instructions of the head referee to start the game. At the competition site, the young chess players focused on meditation, responded to the challenge calmly, and showed their chess skills as little experts in every move, competing with their opponents in terms of intelligence and perseverance.
After a day of fierce fighting, Baihua Kindergarten, Lindai Primary School, and Baihua Primary School won the team championships in the kindergarten group, primary school group A, and primary school group B respectively. Four teams including Shiwaijingkai Primary School, Donghu Primary School, Experimental Kindergarten, and Danghu Street Central Kindergarten won the Sportsman Award.
Chess is an ancient and wise competitive sport, not only can exercise children’s thinking ability and improve logical analysis ability, but also cultivate children’s patience and perseverance.
