This month, we’ll be welcoming our newest bundle of joy. We’ve quietly cherished this season together, and one of my favorite parts of pregnancy (and I don’t have a lot of favorites outside of the results) has always been Kenny singing to the baby.

The new addition will be the second child for Lattimore and Jenkins, who married in 2020, and the third child for Lattimore overall. He has a 23-year-old son, Kenny Lattimore, Jr., from his previous marriage to singer Chanté Moore.
New Musical Projects
The couple used the pregnancy announcement to debut a new single from Lattimore titled Over the Rainbow
, which served as the audio for the Instagram post. The accompanying cover image featured the singer holding Skylar shortly after her birth.

Jenkins noted that Lattimore’s habit of singing to the baby during the pregnancy served as the catalyst for a new creative endeavor.

The resulting project, titled Lullabies for You, was inspired by Lattimore’s growing family. The album consists of soothing tracks and affirmations, including a lullaby version of his 1996 hit song, For You
.
