revisiting past messages

Singer Seongbong Choi is embroiled in a false cancer fight, and conversations he had with celebrities in the past are being re-examined.

Choi Seong-bong posted on his Instagram in August, “Thank you,” and revealed the contents of the messages he received from celebrities.

The content of the message contains greetings from comedian Lee Seong-mi, singers Yang Hee-eun, and Joo Young-hoon. Lee Seong-mi said, “I’ll boil some porridge and send it to you. Abalone porridge or pine nut porridge,” he said to Choi Seong-bong, and Yang Hee-eun said, “Seong-bong-ah. Are you holding up well?” he asked. Singer Joo Young-hoon asked Choi Seong-bong, “Did you say you fell down?” Choi Seong-bong answered, “He stopped breathing and came back to life.”

Netizens reacted to this, saying, “It’s bittersweet,” and “Celebrities must have been shocked when they heard the news about Choi Sung-bong’s false cancer battle.”

Earlier, on the 8th, YouTuber Jinho Lee claimed through his personal YouTube channel, “The information that Seongbong Choi disclosed as a cancer diagnosis is a false diagnosis” and “the disease code is written incorrectly.” Controversy also arose, raising suspicions that Choi Seong-bong used the billions of dollars he had raised for entertainment expenses.

Afterwards, Choi Seongbong posted on his fancafe, “I’m sorry for causing a stir and hurting you. Of course, it will be returned to members who ask for donations to be returned. However, it is difficult to get a refund right away. The money I have is 65,480 won.” The post has since been deleted.

Choi Seong-bong made his face by winning the runner-up in the 2011 tvN audition program ‘Korea’s Got Talent’ season 1. He claimed that he was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer, prostate cancer, and thyroid cancer in May of last year after finding malignant tumors in the liver, stomach, and lungs at the time of the runner-up.
