FDA approves Pfizer coronavirus vaccine for children 5-11 years old : InfoQuest

Reuters reported that The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Friday (Oct. 29) for the COVID-19 vaccine. It is the first COVID vaccine approved for young children in the United States.

However, the news report states that Children of that age will not be vaccinated immediately. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) still needs to recommend that How the children should be vaccinated will be decided after an outside advisory group discusses the plans next Tuesday.

Pfizer revealed that Vaccines will begin shipping this Saturday to pharmacies, pediatrician’s offices. and other places where children may be vaccinated

The FDA decision will provide the vaccine to 28 million American children, many of whom have gone back to school.
