Voting for party members to select candidates for the People’s Power presidential election begins tomorrow.
Candidates Seok-Yeol Yoon and Jun-Pyo Hong, who are competing for the lead, engaged in a fierce battle against each other in relation to the so-called nomination threats, criticizing each other as outdated politics.

Candidate Seok-Yeol Yoon visited Daegu, where party members are concentrated, and appealed for support, saying that he was the right person for regime change.

Candidate Jun-pyo Hong announced a customized promise to the conservatives to temporarily suspend the minimum wage system and the 52-hour workweek until the economic recovery, and checked Candidate Seok-yeol Yoon, who visited Daegu.

The nerve war between the two sides escalated to a previous pitch over the authenticity of the revelation that ‘the Yun Seok-yeol camp side is forcing the support of the party committee chairpersons with the right of nomination as a bait’.
Candidate Hong Jun-pyo, arguing that if this is true, the person involved should be expelled from politics, he also sent a warning to the chairman of the party association who would be assigned to Yoon.

Candidate Seok-Yeol Yoon countered that Candidate Hong was running a low-level old-fashioned politics with false posts and fake news that had already been deleted.

On the contrary, the Yun camp accused candidate Hong of blatantly threatening that he would not give the party chairperson the right to nominate.
Candidate Seung-min Yoo said that both candidates Yoon Seok-yeol and Hong Jun-pyo threatened nominations and called them dog-gaining, while Won Hee-ryong criticized the candidates for going too far.
