by David Thompson - Sports Editor

Armagh and‌ Fermanagh have both had their recent Dr mckenna cup⁢ Round 2 victories overturned due to a breach‌ of the pre-season third level ‍policy, as steadfast ⁣by the ulster CCCC.

Fermanagh had previously defeated Cavan with a⁢ score of 1-12 to 1-10, while Armagh won ‍against Down 3-10 to ⁤0-10.

Ulster GAA announced that both results have been voided due to‌ the teams‍ fielding ineligible players.

The Down-Armagh game will now be recorded ‍as⁤ a win‍ for Down, ⁣awarding them the points. However, the Fermanagh-Cavan match has been ‍declared null and void, meaning neither team ⁤will receive ‌points.

ulster GAA has ‌not disclosed the identities of the players deemed ineligible.
