Armagh and Fermanagh have both had their recent Dr mckenna cup Round 2 victories overturned due to a breach of the pre-season third level policy, as steadfast by the ulster CCCC.
Fermanagh had previously defeated Cavan with a score of 1-12 to 1-10, while Armagh won against Down 3-10 to 0-10.
Ulster GAA announced that both results have been voided due to the teams fielding ineligible players.
The Down-Armagh game will now be recorded as a win for Down, awarding them the points. However, the Fermanagh-Cavan match has been declared null and void, meaning neither team will receive points.
ulster GAA has not disclosed the identities of the players deemed ineligible.
