Supporting Patients Across Northern Alsace
Coeur des Sables, established in Haguenau in 2014, provides crucial support to patients navigating the physical and emotional challenges of cancer and its treatment. The association currently assists 240 individuals in northern Alsace, offering resources and care tailored to their needs.
The association, comprised of approximately fifteen volunteers ranging in age from 20 to 60, is uniquely positioned to offer empathetic support, as many members have personal experiance with cancer – either through their own diagnoses or those of loved ones. Services are delivered across multiple locations in Northern Alsace, including dedicated spaces in wissembourg, Seltz, Haguenau, and Hochfelden, adapting to the specific equipment and facilities available at each site.
