Fiji Vacation Turns nightmare as Tourists Hospitalized After Hotel Drinks
Six tourists, including four Australians and an American, are hospitalized in Fiji after falling ill following drinks at a luxury resort.
The tourists, ranging in age from 18 to 56, were staying at the Warwick Fiji, located approximately 60 kilometers from the capital city of Suva. Local authorities report that the group experienced symptoms including vomiting and neurological issues shortly after consuming drinks at the hotel.
The incident has sparked a police investigation, raising concerns about the safety of beverages served at tourist destinations. This comes just weeks after a tragic incident in Laos, where six tourists died from methanol poisoning after consuming complimentary alcohol at a hotel.
