FilGoal | News | Manchester City owners buy a Turkish club

The City Football Group, which includes Manchester City, has succeeded in acquiring the Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir.

On Sunday, Basaksehir Club announced its official joining of the City Football Group.

Basaksehir currently ranks ninth in the Turkish Premier League table.

The CFG Group owns a majority of the shares of 13 other clubs on the continents of the world.

City Football Group is controlled by members of the UAE’s ruling family, with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan holding a majority stake.

The other 13 clubs owned by City Football Group are:-

– Manchester City, England

– New York City, USA

– Melbourne City, Australia

– Girona, Spain

– Atletico Torcuy, Uruguayan

– Japanese Yokohama Marinos

– Sichuan Jiun, China

– Mumbai City Indian

– Belgian Lommel

– French Troyes

– Montevideo City, Uruguayan

– Bolivian Bolivar

– Brazilian Bahia

– Turkish Basaksehir

Abu Dhabi United Group owns 78% of the shares of Citi Group, which was founded in 2013 by Mansour Al Nahyan and Khaldoun Al Mubarak.
