In the Tepedam District of the Erciş district, two groups with hostility between each other came face to face at the wedding last week. The discussion between the groups turned into a stone and stick fight. While the fight was ended with the intervention of the security forces, enmity arose between the parties.

Those who were involved in the fight with stones and sticks last week, faced each other today as well. Vedat, who was hit by bullets after the discussion that broke out again turned into an armed fight in a short time. While D (17) lost his life, 19 people were injured. Upon the notification, many gendarmerie, police and medical teams were sent to the scene. The injured were taken to the Martyr Rıdvan Çevik State Hospital and treated after the first intervention of the medical teams who came to the scene.
While the police and gendarmerie took extensive security measures in the neighborhood where the fight took place, an investigation was launched into the incident.
