Yesterday during the day, a Porsche and a Mercedes vehicle collided in an alley in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
No one was injured in a contact accident while trying to change lanes.
However, Mr Choi, a lawyer who drove a Porsche, ran away from the scene immediately after the accident, leaving only the vehicle behind.
It was confirmed that Attorney Choi had been active in Yoon Seok-yeol’s government transition committee and worked as an administrator in the presidential office until last year.
Mr Choi is a popular lawyer who has appeared on a number of broadcast programmes, and it was found that he had appeared on a program on the morning of the accident.
A police official said Choi was out of touch and would investigate the details of the crash, including whether he was drunk at the time of the crash.

At around 11:30 last night, a fire broke out in a pension building in Cheongpyeong-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do.
