Former NBA superstar Dwight Howard finds himself entangled in a sexual assault allegation in the United States. Howard, vehemently denying the accusations through his legal representative, hopes for a dismissal of the case by the court.

According to the Associated Press, a civil lawsuit was filed in July of this year by an American man named Stephen Harper, accusing Howard and another individual of assault, false imprisonment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Harper claims that he connected with Howard on Instagram and engaged in “clear text messages” before arranging a meeting at Howard’s residence on July 19, 2021.

During their journey to Howard’s home, Harper states that the NBA star proposed involving other individuals in their gathering, but Harper declined the offer without interest.

Upon arrival at Howard’s residence, Harper alleges that he encountered an individual disguised as a woman, introducing themselves as “Katie.” Despite his attempts to resist, Harper claims that Howard and Katie coerced him into engaging in sexual activity.

Howard, refuting Harper’s accusations, submitted a response through his attorney, asserting that the sexual activity was consensual among the three parties involved. Additionally, Howard requested the dismissal of the case.

The former star of the NBA, Dwight Howard, was accused of sexual assault by a man in the United States, but Howard denied it through his lawyer hoping that the court would reject the case.

According to the Associated Press, an American man named Stephen Harper filed a civil lawsuit against Howard and another man in July of this year, accusing him of assault, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Harper said in the lawsuit that he met Howard through Instagram and they exchanged “clear text messages” before meeting at Howard’s home on July 19, 2021.

Harper further revealed that on the way to Howard’s home, Howard asked if he would agree with other interested parties to join them for this “event,” but Harper responded that he was not interested in the offer.

Harper described that upon arriving at Howard’s home, a man dressed as a woman introduced himself as “Katie.” Harper said he tried to resist the two men, but Howard and Katie forced him to engage in sexual activity.

Afterwards, Howard filed a response through his lawyer and denied Harper’s accusations, saying the three “engaged in consensual sexual activity.” Howard also asked for the case to be dismissed.
