When the women’s volleyball team appeared at Incheon International Airport, cheers poured in.

The voice of support for the women’s volleyball team, which reached the semifinals for the first time in 9 years at the Tokyo Olympics, is hot.

In particular, attention was focused on Kim Yeon-kyung, who played an active role as the captain.

Kim thanked the people and rated this Olympics as 99 points.

He left room for when to retire from the national team.

In this Olympic Games, the women’s volleyball team defeated Kenya and the Dominican Republic in the preliminary round, and even defeated the host country, Japan.

After that, they defeated volleyball powerhouse Turkey 3-2 and advanced to the semifinals for the first time in 9 years since the 2012 London Games.

Meanwhile, the women’s volleyball team received a total of 600 million won in prize money as the Korea Volleyball Association and Korea Volleyball Federation each paid 200 million won, and Shinhan Financial Group delivered an additional 200 million won.
