Film and serial star Saranya Sasi passes away Actress Saranya

Thiruvananthapuram: Film and serial star Saranya Sasi, who fought against cancer for more than a decade and became a symbol of survival, has passed away at the age of 35. He died at a private hospital at 12.30 pm yesterday. Kovid and pneumonia were diagnosed during cancer treatment but were cured and returned home to Chempazhanthi. He was admitted to the hospital again last week due to low sodium levels in his blood. The body is in the Medical College Hospital mortuary. Burial will be at 12.30 pm today at Thycaud Peace Gate.

Saranya, who was a favorite of TV viewers, was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2008. He underwent 11 surgeries during his treatment at Sree Chitra Institute. Friends and serials from all over the world have come to the rescue during the crisis over the high cost of treatment. Actress Seema G. Nair, who has been with Tangai from the beginning, was able to raise a huge amount of money after sharing the information. After the 10th surgery, the body was partially paralyzed but survived with prolonged treatment. Meanwhile, under the leadership of Seema G. Nair, Chempazhanthi bought land in Aniyoor and built a house for Saranya with financial help. The house was named ‘Sneha Seema’ in honor of Seema. I settled here last year.

Saranya, a native of Pazhayangadi, Kannur, is making her acting debut in the television serial ‘Suryodayam’ directed by Balachandra Menon. ‘Chacko II’ is the first film. He has acted in many popular serials as well as films like Thalappavu and Chhota Mumbai. She has also acted in Tamil and Telugu films and serials. Gita is the mother. Siblings: Sharan and Shonima.
