Friday prayer

Al-Azhar International Center for Electronic Fatwa said that taking immature children to the mosque for prayer Friday For the purpose of getting them accustomed to performing prayer, it is desirable; The desirability of this is confirmed if they are distinguished; To raise them to love the mosque and witness congregational prayer.

The Al-Azhar Center added, in a publication on the ruling on taking children to Friday prayers, that care must be taken to teach children the etiquette of the mosque with kindness and compassion, such as respecting it, ensuring its cleanliness, and not disturbing the worshipers. It was narrated on the authority of our Master, the Messenger of God, that he was carrying his grandchildren while leading the worshipers in the mosque.

Al-Azhar Center cited what was reported on the authority of Abu Qatada Al-Ansari, who said: “I saw the Prophet leading the people in prayer, and Umamah bint Abi Al-Aas, who is the daughter of Zainab, the Prophet’s daughter, was at his command, and lo and behold He bowed and placed it, and when he rose from prostration he repeated it.” [متفق عليه].

On the authority of Abdullah bin Shaddad, on the authority of his father, he said: The Messenger of God came out in us in one of the prayers of the evening Then he grew up for the prayers, and he prayed, and he was prostrated between his appearances. To God, and he was prostrating, so I returned to my prostration, and when the Messenger of God finished the prayer, the people said: O Messenger of God, you prostrated before me in your prayer, a prostration that prolonged it Until we thought that something had happened or that it was being revealed to you, he said: “All of that did not happen, but my son left me, and I hated To hasten him until he fulfills his need.”[أخرجه النسائي].
