G20 summit in Italy; Climate Change Main Discussion | Italy G20 Leaders’ Summit in Rome

Rome: Chinese and Russian leaders will not attend the G20 summit in Italy on May 30 and 31. Foreign Minister Wang Yi will represent China at the conference.

Turkey is also absent from the conference due to diplomatic issues. Climate change is the main topic of the summit. The US, Australia and France will take part. This is the first time France, Australia and the United States have come together on the same platform since the problems following Australia’s withdrawal from the submarine agreement.

The UN wants the G20 countries to keep their promise of $ 10,000 billion to help poor countries prevent global warming.

G20 members are responsible for 80 percent of the carbon dioxide emissions caused by climate change.
