[제주교통복지신문 김강석 기자] Pre-orders for Samsung Electronics’ new flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S22 series, will be held for 8 days from today, from the 14th to the 21st, and the official release in Korea will be released on the 25th.
Among the Galaxy S22 series, it is worth noting that there is a camera, a frozen price, and the S Pen installed in the Ultra version. The response time is three times better than that of the previous S Pen, showing a natural and real pen-like writing feeling.
The Galaxy S22 series is released in three models, the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra, and the newly applied ‘Nightography’ technology enables clear and noise-free shooting even at night, while ‘Erase light reflections’ and ‘Erase shadows’ ‘ for more comfortable photography.
The Galaxy S22 and Plus will be released in four colors, phantom black, white, green, and pink gold, and the S22 Ultra will be released in a total of four colors, phantom black, white, green and burgundy.
As for the display, there are the S22 and S22+ with 6.1-inch and 6.6-inch screens, respectively, and the Ultra model with a 6.8-inch Note-like screen. The regular model supports 25W super-fast charging, and the Plus and Ultra models support 45W super-fast charging.
The Galaxy S22 series is priced at 999,900 won, 1,199,000 won, 1,452,000 won, and 1,551,000 won, respectively. As the Galaxy S22 series is not expected to receive much public support, it is expected that many customers will flock to the optional contract rate discount.
An official from Naver smartphone cafe ‘Pasphone’ said, “The factory price of the Galaxy S22 series is around 300,000 won for the basic model, around 500,000 won for the Plus, and around 800,000 won for the Ultra. It is expected that more than half of the sale price will be discounted.”
He added, “As the Galaxy S22 series has been waiting for the launch of a new product, it is expected that popular colors will be sold out, so we are applying a basic discount for handsets up to 300,000 won depending on the type.”
