Gaohe Automobile Factory Employees Still Waiting for Compensation Amid Uncertain Future

Kuai Technology reported on February 20, according to domestic media reports, a formal employee of the Yancheng Gaohe Automobile factory revealed that none of the formal employees of the Yancheng factory have received compensation at this time, and Gaohe Automobile has not issued relevant announcements.

Currently, only outsourced workers who have been made redundant have received compensation.However, these external workers belong to JD.com and are mainly responsible for work related to logistics. Their wages and compensation are paid by JD.com and they have nothing to do with Gaohe Automobile.

According to reports, the labor contract termination agreement shows that the compensation plan for Gaohe Automobile JD outsourcing workers is the average monthly salary multiplied by N times (N is the number of years of service ).

The part that is less than half a year is made up to half a year, and the part that is more than half a year is calculated as a full year, that is, an employee who has worked for 1.2 years can receive 1.5 times monthly salary compensation, and an employee who has worked for 2.6 years can receive 3 times monthly salary compensation.

In this regard, a formal employee expressed dissatisfaction to Gaohe Automobile:“All the outsourced workers have been addressed, but our regular workers still have no explanation.”

Previous reports indicated that Gaohe Automobile has announced internally that the company has begun a comprehensive shutdown, tentatively scheduled for 6 months;

Employees’ wages before February 18 will be paid as usual; workers who remain at Gaohe Automobile before March 15 will only be paid basic wages; after March 15, workers will only be paid local basic wages.

In addition, some employees revealed that Gaohe Automobile sales outlets will also be closed one after the other. Currently there is no definite answer whether Gaohe Automobile can survive this difficulty.
