Genesis G90 Car of the Year in the US… Turn luxury common sense

Hyundai Motor’s luxury brand Genesis showed its presence in the luxury car market by receiving prestigious awards this year as well as last year. Genesis announced on the 18th that the G90 has been selected as the “2023 Car of the Year” by Motor Trend, a world-renowned car magazine.

The G90 won the award beating more than 20 contenders, including the BMW i4, Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and Honda Civic Type R. Motor Trend selects the car of the year after evaluating items such as safety, efficiency, design and driving performance.

Motor Trend cited the G90’s exterior design, cutting-edge technology, and colorful and varied convenience features as reasons for choice. He explained that the ‘Easy Close’ function, which allows you to gently close the door with a button, and the back seat space with reclining and massaging functions are its strengths.

Genesis’ G80 EV, GV60, and Kia EV6 compete with Ford’s F-150 Lightning, Cadillac Lyric, Nissan Z, and Acura Integra. The North American Car of the Year will be announced on January 11 next year.
