Former German soccer player Michael Ballack, 45, fell in love with a woman he met through his son.
British ‘The Sun’ reported on the 19th (Korean time) that Michael Ballack was in a relationship with his son’s friend, model Sofia Schneiderhan (21).
According to the media, Ballack recently visited an art museum and enjoyed dating Schneiderhan. He added that the two were often seen kissing in public.
Ballack, who was in the German national team, is a legendary player who has been active in Chelsea and Leverkusen. However, Ballack has suffered several hardships since his retirement.
Last year, he found a tumor near his spinal cord and underwent surgery to remove it. He later grieved at the loss of his son while he was in custody in Portugal to recover. Ballack’s eldest son, Emilio, passed away.
Emilio died in an accident while riding a four-wheeled motorcycle while living in Portugal with Ballack. At the time, Ballack said of Emilio’s death that “the world has fallen”.
